Isotope Tracer Technologies Inc. (IT²) is a state-of-the-art facility that offers a variety of isotopic analyses on different materials and samples, that can be utilized in a range of disciples, including the: geochemical, environmental, hydrological, ecological, geological, and biological fields, and the energy sector.

IT² offers excellent client services to government agencies and consulting companies, as well as research institutions, providing high quality data and fast turn-around times. IT² is one of the leading laboratories in Compound-Specific Isotope Analyses (CSIA). We also carry out significant research and development for developing novel stable isotope methods to further aid the needs of our clients.

IT² is frequently engaged with consulting companies and research institutions in many cutting edge research and development collaborations, including, investigations of newly emerging contaminants, developing new analytical methodologies, as well as supplying all necessary sampling tools and equipment. IT² is involved in projects and collaboration agreements with clients in Canada, USA, Europe, and many other parts of the world.

IT² owns state-of-the-art IRMS, GC, EA, LSC instruments that are capable of accurate, precise, and sensitive analyses. The quality of the laboratory output is supported by highly experienced staff members, a high number of international standards, and strict quality control and quality assurance measures. Both National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Standard Reference Materials (SRM) are used to calibrate in-house standards. IT² participates in all IAEA inter-comparison studies (e.g. TRIC, WICO and TEL).
