Isotope Tracer Technologies Europe (IT²E) is a state-of-the-art facility based in Milan (Italy), that offers a variety of isotopic analyses on different materials and samples, that can be utilized in a range of disciples, including the: geochemical, environmental, hydrological, ecological, geological, and biological fields, and the energy sector.

IT²E is a top laboratory for isotope analyses applications of a wide variety of chemical elements, such as H, C, N, O, and S on solid, liquid and gaseous phases. In particular, IT²E is a leader in the Compound Specific Isotope Analysis (CSIA), such ¹³C, ³⁷Cl and ²H. IT²E also offers determinations of radioactive isotopes such as ³H, ¹⁴C and ⁸⁷Sr among others. Moreover, IT²E has extensive expertise on compositional fingerprinting techniques by GC-MS.

IT²E owns state-of-the-art IRMS, GC-MS and EA instruments that are capable of accurate, precise, and sensitive analyses. The quality of the laboratory output is supported by highly experienced staff members, a high number of international standards, and strict quality control and quality assurance measures. Both National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Standard Reference Materials (SRM) are used to calibrate in-house standards.
